Built in 1930 by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II of Jaipur as a lodge for his hunting trips to the jungles of Ranthambore, the lodge is a 20-minute drive from the Ranthambore National Park, famous for its tiger population. It is located in the district of Sawai Madhopur, at a distance of 182 kms from the airport and 1.5 kms from the nearest railway station.
As for accommodation, there are a total of 29 rooms that can be divided into Executive Suites, Deluxe Rooms and Standard Rooms. In addition to all the modern amenities, the Executive Suites and the Deluxe Rooms also have complimentary railway station transfer bottle of premium wine in the room upon arrival, pressing of one suit and dress per night and dry-fruit bowl and fresh fruit basket along with mineral water bottles. The onsite restaurant serves both Indian and continental cuisine which can be enjoyed while watching puppet shows and folk dances.
