Castle Durjan Niwas

Castle Durjan Niwas is a small but beautiful fortress palace built in the early 19th century by Thakur Durjan Singh of the Champawat clan of Marwar. Many changes and additions have led the old fortress and the present day structure to be just a shadow of the original. Located in the Daspan village of Jalore district of Jodhpur, the castle, which is just 3 kms away from the airport and I km from the railway station has been fully renovated.
